Professor in Toxicology at Wageningen University and promoter of 30 PhD students. Her focus is on evaluating risk versus benefits of the so-called novel foods & ingredients, developing gene reporter assays for the detection of health effects and finally the role of the food matrix of ingredients of vegetable origin. Member of (inter) national advisory committees.
Albert Zwijgers, member
Graduated in Nutrition Technology at Wageningen University and started at Gist Brocades and then worked for DMV International and Quest International. He moved to Unilever where he worked as Head of the Global Technology Center Health & Wellness. His current activities are Professor Innovation in Foods HAS Den Bosch and advisor to various food companies.

Has a broad experience in business development, of which the last 30 years for Akzo Nobel in various positions, such as worldwide Research & Development activities for the pharmaceutical division of Organon Teknika, Regulatory Affairs and Business Development & Licensing.
